Empowering Students: SSGSA Seminar on Higher Education Abroad

 

Aligarh : The Sir Syed Education Society of North America (SSGSA) successfully hosted a seminar recently at the Frank and Debbie Islam Management Complex in Aligarh, India, aiming to empower students aspiring to pursue higher education abroad.

The event commenced with an introduction by Prof. Parvaiz Talib, about SSGSA. An alumnus of AMU and a senior SSGSA scholar, Mr. Shivam Agarwal served as the main speaker, sharing expertise and personal experiences with the attendees. Mr. Agarwal provided insights into the application process and the benefits of the SSGSA program.

During the engaging Q&A session, students sought advice on various aspects of the application process, including approaching professors through cold emails and the role of research papers in the selection process.

Mr. Sajad Shiekh and Mr. Sachin Gupta, co-chairs of the SSGSA program, praised AMU administration  for their support in organizing the event.
